The idea for this adventure originated several years ago, at Christmas when Nicholas asked Roy if he would like to take a motorcycle trip with him. How many times does a father get an offer like that?!!
The plan is to go on a motorcycle trip, and fill it with six week's worth of good family, friends, scenery, and miles. If things work out the trip will take us from the Atlantic Ocean, to the Arctic Ocean, to the Pacific Ocean, and back again. It might look a little something like this...

That's about 19,000 km (or 12,000 miles) in six weeks. We're hoping to avoid a lot of Interstate riding on the way back, but I have a funny feeling we're going to be a little short on time.
